You will be pleased to know that this includes a complete breakfast and a relaxing dinner. We prepare our meals with our visitors’ preferences in mind, and our menu changes with the seasons and the availability of fresh ingredients from the markets. Occasionally, we include an evening program that our guests may attend.

We can provide transportation to and from the airport in Kushiro, which is the most convenient method of reaching Hokkaido, for a small additional fee. On some evenings we can provide transportation to a local onsen, a traditional Japanese bath house that supplies water from natural hot springs. Many of our Japanese guests tell us this is one of the best parts of their day, and our Western guests are learning why onsens are so popular in Japan.

Our guiding services are designed to offer you or your group a chance to explore and enjoy the best locations and activities throughout eastern Hokkaido in all seasons. We provide transportation during your visit to Hickory Wind. The daily rate for our guiding services will depend on the activities selected, the distance traveled, and the length of the guided activities.

In addition, we can provide some of the equipment that you might need during your visit to Hokkaido. For example, we can provide camping equipment for your visit to Hokkaido’s national parks during the summer. The fee to use this equipment is very reasonable, and you will be able to travel with less equipment. We have canoeing gear, fishing gear, and waterproof boots that will make your visit more comfortable.

We are a native Japanese family who are proud of our country and our home island. It is an honor to be able to share this beautiful part of Japan with our guests. We are continuing to improve our English speaking skills so that we can provide the same quality of service and the same quality of educational experiences to our English-speaking guests that we currently provide to our Japanese guests.
